The best advice I can start of with is, don't try and do everything at once, as this game is a marathon and not a sprint and takes years rather than weeks and months to get together a good team. Try and have a look around the Q & A forum, as you can get so much advice from there and even if you have something specific you are not sure of, try the search option.

If you are still not sure about something, or can't find anything in your search, never be afraid to ask on the forum, there is always normally someone about who is always willing to give advice, answer your questions or just share their experience of the game.
It is well worth completing the MZ Official tutorial (Help>Tutorial), as not only will it help you understand the game a bit more, but also you can earn some extra money for your team at the same time.
